The Soo Thunderbirds have announced that they will be hosting their second annual Dezzy Cup inter-squad game on Wednesday, January 31st at 3:30 p.m. at the John Rhodes Community Centre.
This is the second straight season for this event to honour Colin Desmoulin, a former student and hockey player who attended St. Mary’s College, and lost his life in a car accident during November of 2016.
Following the first annual Dezzy Cup inter-squad game between the Soo Thunderbirds and St. Mary’s Knights back on December 2nd, 2016, $3000 was raised towards Colin’s favourite charity, Breaking Away.
