The Soo Thunderbirds have announced today that forward Alex Acosta has committed to play for the Northland College Lumberjacks hockey club for the 2018-2019 season.
Acosta, who is one of two 1997 birth year players on this year’s Thunderbirds roster, finished third in team goals (16) and fourth in team points (37) during the 2017-2018 regular season.
The Etobicoke, Ontario native committed to the Soo Thunderbirds prior to the 2017-2018 season.
