Chitter is moving up to the Q!
The Soo Thunderbirds have announced on Monday that defenceman Mason Chitaroni has signed with the QMJHL’s Acadie Bathurst Titan for the 2022-2023 season.
“We are really happy for Mason and his family to earn an opportunity with the Titan,” said Soo Thunderbirds assistant coach and general manager Jamie Henderson. “Mason came in with a great attitude everyday and he was instrumental in our championship run last season.”
In 27 regular season games played with the Soo Thunderbirds last season, Chitaroni scored twice and set up 14 others.
The 2004-birth-year defenceman then had 1 goal and 11 assists in 14 games during the 2022 postseason.
