It’s been a busy week thus far for the Soo Thunderbirds in transactions.
First, it was announced on Monday that defenceman and Erie Otters prospect Andrew Barbeau was reaqcuired from the GOJHL’s Chatham Maroons.
Then on Tuesday, the T-Birds dealt rookie forward Brad Thrower to the Superior International Junior Hockey League’s Thunder Bay North Stars,
And now today, it was announced that another member is on the move.
The Soo Thunderbirds have announced today they have traded 1997 birth year defenceman Joe Newhouse to his hometown Thunder Bay North Stars in exchange for player development fee.
Newhouse, who came over as a free agent from the Thunder Bay North Stars this offseason, had 2 assists and 4 penalty minutes through 7 contests with the T-Birds.
