With a team leading nine goals and thirteen points through the first eight games of the season, overage forward Matt Pinder has been named the Soo Thunderbirds player of the month for September.
Pinder, who has played a big role in the Soo Thunderbirds early success thus far, also included an eight game goal scoring streak to help his club to a 7-1 record.
