T-BIRD HIGHLIGHT:
On November 21st, 2004 in a road game vs the North Bay Skyhawks, Soo Thunderbirds forward Matt Dias scored five times and assisted on another to lead the Soo to a 7-3 victory. His five goals had also tied the team record for most goals scored in a single game.
OHL CAREER:
After spending two seasons with the T-Birds from 2003-2005, the Sault native went on to play four seasons with the Ontario Hockey League’s Sudbury Wolves from 2005-2009. During his final Ontario Hockey League season, Dias led the Wolves in scoring with 31 goals and 66 points through 68 games.
CAREER CONCLUSION:
Matt played his final hockey season in the Italy2 for the Milano Rossoblu during 2010-2011.
