After losing goaltender Mario Culina, who signed as a free agent with the Windsor Spitfires, the Soo Thunderbirds have added an overage goaltender to their roster.
The Soo Thunderbirds have picked up 1995 birth year goaltender Nathan Warren as a free agent. Warren, who stands 6’3 and 190 lbs, had 5 wins, 7 losses, 1 tie, a 3.80 goals against average and a .879 save percentage last season with the BCHL’s Alberni Valley Bulldogs.
The Prince George, BC native joins rookie goaltender Brandon Gordon, who signed with the T-Birds this offseason.
With the addition of Warren, the T-Birds now have a total of seven overage players including Matt Mitchell, Nathan Hebert, Joey Miller, Brett Jeffries, Izaak Del Mastro and Matt Pinder.
