The Soo Thunderbirds have announced today that they have named second year forward Noah Solinger as their new team captain.
This decision was made just two days after the Thunderbirds sent captain Ryan Mulligan to the Blind River Beavers in exchange for a player development fee.
Solinger currently sits third in team scoring this season with 8 goals and 28 points through 33 games.
Last season, the Chatsworth, Ontario product had 8 goals and 22 points through 48 games and was the recipient of the John L. Cohen Memorial Award for the Thunderbirds scholastic player of the year.
