On Wednesday, the Soo Thunderbirds released their 2018-2019 regular season schedule.
The Thunderbirds will kick off their 2018-2019 regular season on Friday, September 7th at 7:00 p.m. against their International Bridge rivals, the Soo Eagles at the John Rhodes Community Centre.
It will also be a rematch of last year’s semifinal series.
The last time the Thunderbirds opened up their regular season against the Eagles, was back on September 11th, 2015, when the Thunderbirds defeated them 5-2 at the Essar Centre.
The Thunderbirds will then conclude their 2018-2019 regular season against the Eagles on Saturday, March 2nd at 7:00 p.m. at the John Rhodes Community Centre.
The 2018-2019 season will mark the 20th season for the Soo Thunderbirds!
