Another Soo Thunderbird is now a member of the Crunch.
The Soo Thunderbirds have announced on Saturday that they have traded rookie defenceman Connor Healy to the Cochrane Crunch in exchange for a player development fee.
In eleven games played with the Thunderbirds this season, Healy scored 1 goal and set up 5 others.
“Connor is a really nice young man who was looking for an opportunity to play more minutes. We wish him well in Cochrane and thank him for his time here,” said Soo Thunderbirds assistant coach and general manager Jamie Henderson.
In Cochrane, Healy will now also be teammates with former Soo Thunderbirds defenceman Mark Hill, who was traded from the Soo to Cochrane back on June 28.
