By Matt Stefano

There are only two games left in the regular season, and it all begins tonight as the Soo Thunderbirds take on the Rayside Balfour Canadians at 7:30 p.m. at the John Rhodes.

The Thunderbirds, who enter tonight’s game with 75 points on the season, sit two points behind the Canadians for first place in the West Division.

The last time these two clubs met was back on March 1st, when the Thunderbirds fell 2-1 to the Canadians at Chelmsford Arena.

Assistant captain Kaidan McDonald had a power play goal for the Soo while Taylor Woolcott and Jordan Spadafore (power play) had the goals for Rayside Balfour.

That game, the Thunderbirds outshot the Canadians 44-26.
