Brock Santa Maria’s power play tally at the 18:49 mark of the second period last night turned out to be the game-winner, as the Soo Thunderbirds went on to defeat the Hearst Lumberjacks by a score of 2-1 at the John Rhodes.
Santa Maria, who scored the game-winning goal, also helped lead the Thunderbirds to their 17th straight victory.
