We are already nineteen games into the regular season and currently have an impressive record of 17-2. This week the Soo Thunderbirds got some big recognition as they moved up to second in Canada, but today marks a different day for some of our Canadian vets off the ice.
As we are in the eleventh day of the eleventh month, today is a day where we honour our Canadian soldiers who gave half of their lives to us. Remembrance Day is a time to reflect on the real heroes out their who fought for our country and for our freedom.
The Soo Thunderbirds hockey club, who currently sit second in Canada would like to thank all of our veterans who fought for our rights and our freedom and lest we forget!
