TORONTO – Maintaining their place atop the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Top 20 Rankings – Fuelled by Gatorade, for another week are the Collingwood Blues of the Ontario Junior Hockey League.
The OJHL regular season title winners led all teams there with 99 points and a record of 49-6-0-1.
Tabbed No. 2 in the listings, announced Monday, are the Flin Flon Bombers (SJHL).
Leading the way in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, Flin Flon boasts a winning percentage of .853, having gone 42-6-2-1 to date.
At No. 3 are the Steinbach Pistons (MJHL).
As the front-runners in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, the Pistons sport a 43-7-3-0 mark on the campaign, along with a win-mark of .840.
Another MJHL side, in the Winkler Flyers, are slotted No. 4 in the rankings, which are compiled through an independent scouting service.
Winkler has gone 38-8-2-3 overall with seven games left on their slate before the playoffs, including a match-up at home Wednesday versus Steinbach.
The Summerside Western Capitals (MHL) round out the Top 5 this week.
Billy McGuigan’s club are a crisp 36-5-3-6 so far in 2023-24 in the Maritime Hockey League, having won seven straight and going 9-0-0-2 since February 1st.
