Hallsy is now a T-Bird!
The Soo Thunderbirds have announced on Saturday that they have acquired 2004-birth-year forward Easton Hall from the KIJHL’s Kelowna Chiefs in exchange for a player development fee.
“We are excited to add Easton to our program and he really fits our culture here,” said Soo Thunderbirds assistant coach and general manager Jamie Henderson. “Easton skates well and is a player who will make life difficult for opponents.”
Last season with the Chiefs, Hall finished fourth in team scoring with 15 points (7 goals and 8 assists) in 39 games.
The 5-foot-7 and 175-pound forward also finished tied for the team-lead in power play goals with 4 and power play assists with 5.
“I’m very thankful for this opportunity,” said Hall, who is from Fort St. John, British Columbia. “The Thunderbirds are great organization with a great coach and I’m excited to play with them this fall.”
